and the pulley is allowed to move forward the OE stud can bend and lose enough tension for the timing belt to slip time or shear/snap. Once the upper idler comes out far enough it will cut a hole in the front cover, Stud bends, Belt shears/breaks. Tensoiner was set correctly. I have seen this personally I do agree, I have never seen a OE stud break with correct installation and nothng else failing/causing it to happen. I've been working on these since they came out in 1989 ;)
